Dr. Gina Caserma has been practicing in San Diego for over thirteen years, and is the owner of World of Wellness Chiropractic.
World of Wellness is a friendly and warm family centered wellness facility. Dr. Caserma specializes in women’s healthand on raising healthy families. She has chosen to focus on pre and post-natal care, knowing that pregnancy and the birth experience lay the foundation for raising a healthy family. She is certified in the Webster Technique, which is a chiropractic technique that is successful in correcting breech presentations and many other in-utero constraint positions.
Post partum chiropractic care is not only essential for the new mother but also the baby. Research is confirming chiropractors' observations that infants may suffer from spinal subluxations. In one study, 1,250 babies were examined five days after birth; 211 of them suffered from vomiting, hyperactivity and sleeplessness. Subluxations(a distortion in spinal bones causing nerve damage) were found in 95% of this group. This is why Dr. Caserma is passionate about educating parents about subluxations and the impact they can have on our childrens spines and their overall health and quality of life.
