Danny Singley, Ph.D. is a counseling psychologist conducting research, practice, and consultation regarding men’s issues with an emphasis on men’s peripartum mental health and the transition to fatherhood. Dr. Singley has conducted numerous trainings and presentations regarding men’s reproductive psychology and how clients, organizations, clinicians, and researchers can enhance their efforts to support men during the onset of fatherhood. He founded the grant-funded Basic Training for New Dads program in order to conduct research (for more about BTND research – visit to further understand men’s experience in the peripartum period as well as provide new and expectant fathers with the tools they need to optimize their journey into new fatherhood. In his free time, Dr. Singley enjoys going on hikes with his two boys to throw rocks at things.
